Terms of Service
Last updated: July 13, 2026
These terms apply when you use this website or hire Ethaniel Venero ("I", "me", "my") for design and development work. By using the site or engaging me for a project, you agree to these terms.
Using this website
You may browse the site, submit the contact form, and reach out about a project. Please do not misuse the site, attempt to break its security, scrape it in bulk, or use it for anything unlawful. Content on the site is owned by me unless otherwise credited and may not be copied for commercial use without permission.
Project engagements
Any paid work is confirmed in a separate written proposal or agreement that covers scope, timeline, deliverables, and price. If the proposal and these terms disagree, the proposal wins for that project.
- Scope: Work covers what the proposal describes. Changes to scope may adjust the price and timeline.
- Client input: Projects rely on timely feedback, content, and access. Delays on the client side may shift the delivery date.
- Revisions: A reasonable number of revisions is included as stated in the proposal. Additional rounds are billed at my standard rate.
Payment
Unless the proposal states otherwise, a deposit is required to start a project and the balance is due before final files or the live site are handed off. Invoices are payable within the timeframe stated on the invoice. Late payments may pause work.
Ownership and licensing
Once a project is paid in full, you own the final deliverables produced for you. I keep the right to display the finished work in my portfolio and case studies. Third-party assets (fonts, stock images, plugins, hosting) remain subject to their own licenses.
Confidentiality
Non-public information you share for a project is treated as confidential and used only to deliver the work. I will not share it with others without your permission, except where required by law.
Warranty and liability
I put real care into every project, but the site and any deliverables are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, my total liability for any claim related to the site or a project is limited to the amount you paid me for that project.
Termination
Either of us may end a project in writing. If you cancel, fees for work completed up to that point remain due, and any deposit is non-refundable unless the proposal says otherwise.
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. Updates take effect when posted on this page. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent change.
